T. Harry Williams Center for Oral History

The primary mission of Center is to document the history of LSU. Because the history of the state and university are closely intertwined, many broader Louisiana subjects are documented as well. Louisiana Newspapers

Since 1986 LSU has been actively involved with the United States Newspaper Program (USNP). The purpose of USNP is to preserve and make accessible newspapers printed in the fifty states and in the trust territories. USNP is supported financially by the National Endowment for the Humanities, with technical assistance provided by the Library of Congress. Read more...
